Limbo Flying
One easy game to setup is limbo flying with your rc airplane. All you need is to setup a large limbo pole in a flying field with adequate space. Just like regular limbo, the planes will line up and fly under the pole one by one. The pole will then be lowered a notch after the round of planes go through. If a plane comes in contact with the pole or ground, it will be disqualified. Last plane standing wins.
Dropping Bombs
Another fun game to try out is dropping bombs. This game will need several targets on the ground. They can be drawn using spray paint or chalk, drawing a large circle filled with smaller circles inside to resemble a bulls-eye. This will be the target for the bombs. You will then need some plastic bags filled with a powder of some sort that will be placed on top of the plane’s nose. The object of the game is to fly over the target zone and flip the plane over at the right time so that the bags of powder will fall and hit the target. Whoever gets their bag closest to the middle of the target wins the game.
Combat With Streamers
This third game will likely require the most skill to play and will require 4 to 5 participants. Each plane will have a streamer attached to their tales. The object of the game is to cut the streamers of the other planes using your propeller. A time limit should be set, generally around 10 to 20 minutes. Once the time limit is over, the plane with the longest streamer remaining is the winner.
These games are not only fun to play but can test your skills as an rc hobbyist. Have fun playing them and become even better at flying your craft.
